Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Sonvo (sonvo.co), a suite of free diagramming tools operated by Benmore Technologies ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you're using Sonvo on behalf of a company, you're agreeing on its behalf too.

1. The service

Sonvo provides free, browser-based diagramming tools (systems maps, flowcharts, org charts, process maps, roadmaps, whiteboards) and related analysis features, including an API surface. The service is currently offered free of charge and is under active development - features may change, be added, or be removed. We may introduce paid tiers in the future; anything you can do today for free will not silently start charging you.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure - activity under your account is your responsibility. You must be at least 16 years old. One person per account; you may create diagrams for any organization you legitimately represent.

3. Your content

Your diagrams belong to you. You retain all rights to the content you create. You grant us the limited license needed to host, store, display, back up, and process that content for the sole purpose of providing the service to you (including running the analysis features you invoke). We may also derive aggregated, anonymized statistics that never identify you or your content, as described in the Privacy Policy. You're responsible for having the right to place in a diagram whatever you place there.

4. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service. In particular, don't:

• break the law, infringe others' rights, or upload content you have no right to use;
• probe, breach, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure, or attempt to access other users' data;
• abuse the API or automation surface (excessive load, scraping other users' content, spam);
• resell or misrepresent the service as your own.

5. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your profile, which removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the service or other users at risk; where reasonable, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to export your data.

6. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Analyzer output (cost rollups, findings, benchmarks) is informational, based solely on the data you entered, and is not financial, legal, or professional advice. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation - export important diagrams regularly.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Benmore Technologies will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim (which, for a free service, may be zero) and US $100.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

9. Changes & contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
